Working in a coffee bar has its benefits. I learned how to perfect my milk foam skills, and I learned how to make smoothies. When I make smoothies at home, I know what ingredients go with what. It is rare when I make a gross smoothie. Is that a little arrogant? Nah, it’s the truth. How else would I find myself creating the sweet green smoothie?
As y’all know by now, I am trying to eat more greens, and drinking smoothies allows me to do that. My sweet green smoothie is a perfect mix of healthy greens and bright fruits. You can’t taste the avocado or the spinach, but the mango and pineapple don’t overpower the smoothie. It is a perfect balance. Try it out and let me know what you think!
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 banana
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 handful spinach
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 mango
- 1 scoop collagen optional
- Add 1 cup of coconut water to blender.
- Add banana, spinach, mango, pineapple, and avocado.
- Add collagen and blend again.
- Pour into your favorite cup and enjoy!
